Verbena Essential Oil, Aromatika

Aroma: 

intense lemon smell with pleasant floral and fruity notes, slightly tart, fresh.

Obtained by: 

essential oil is obtained by using hydrodistillation method from verbena leaves and branches (synonyms -  Lippia citriodora, Aloisia triphylla; family - Verbenaceae).

Characteristics: 

improves life activity, cures tiredness, eliminates depression.  By using cold inhalations and for room aromatization prevents brain’s vasospasm, improves microcirculation, eliminates headache, giddiness and spasmodic sickness. It is effective remedy in vegeto-vascular dystonia and asthenia, normalizes blood pressure.  By cosmetics enrichment contributes to tissues regeneration after injuries, haematomas, muscle pulls, fractures. Rejuvenates, lifts, smoothes and tones skin. Eliminates perspiring, deodorizes and emerges refined persistent smell, improves elasticity of problem body areas. 

Recommended for treatment:

Properties of oil: 

mobile yellowish-greenish liquid with an intense fresh pleasant lemon scent with floral and fruity notes. 

Blend with with cinnamon oil, nutmeg oil. 


Ways of using, dosage:

vaporization in aroma lamp 3-5 drops per 15 m2 ;
common massage: 4-6 drops per 10 ml of vegetable base oil;
rubbing: 7-8 drops per 10 ml of vegetable base oil;
bath: 3-6 drops of emulsified essential oils.

Caution:

do not use in first four months of pregnancy. possible photosensitization – do not apply on skin less then 60 minutes before sunbathing.

Storage: 

store in tightly closed dark glass bottles in indoor temperature in place inaccessible to children. Protect from light.
