Nettle leaves are rich in vitamins: ascorbic acid (0.6%), carotene (up to 50 mg%), vitamin K, B2, B3, and formic acid. There is up to 6.3% iron oxide in the nettle leaves ash. Thanks to this rich composition of the oil nettle is a valuable component of cosmetic hair care and skin care products. Oil is useful to strengthen hair roots and scalp. Low toxicity allows to use it in children's cosmetics.
