cinnamon essential oil is obtained from bark and leaves of evergreen bushes Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume.) of Lavraceae family by using method of steam distillation.

Ceylon, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Java, Comoros, Seychelles, Indochina, southern and eastern regions of India. This spicy-aromatic and essential-oily plant is widely cultivated in Africa and throughout tropical Asia, especially on wet soils.
Properties of oil:
light yellow or brown liquid with a pungent taste and spicy odor that reminds cinnamon and cloves smell.

psychotropic, antidepressant, tonic; immunostimulant; antiviral; antifungal; antiparasitic; antiseptic, bactericidal, wound-healing, improves microcirculation in tissues; warming; anti-inflammatory, analgetic, spasmolytic, styptic; hypertensive, cardiotonic; stimulates respiratory center, expectorant; stimulates appetite and secretory-motor function of gastrointestinal tract, reduces gas-formation, vermifuge; stimulates menstruation, strong erotic and sexual stimulant; antipruritic, repellent.

Ways of using, dosage:
water rinsing: 2-4 drops per 200 ml of warm water;
pressure point massage: 1 drop of essential oil per 3 drops vegetable base oil;
vaporization in aroma lamp 3-5 drops per
common massage, segmental: 3-5 drops per 10 ml of vegetable base oil;
common aroma bath: 3-4 drops per bath;
Caution:
use with care of delicate, sensitive skin; do not use innervous exhaustion, essential hypertension, pregnancy, during anticancer chemotherapy; do not use up to 3 years old, then procedures are carried considering age dosages.
Storage:
essential oils are stored in tightly closed dark glass bottles in indoor temperature in place inaccessible to children. Protect from light.
